You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. This page explains exactly how, what we delete, and how long it takes.
Email info@trubyte.ai with the subject line “Data deletion request”.
Tell us which of these applies so we can find your records:
A person reads that mailbox. You will get a reply confirming the request, and a second reply once the deletion is done.
If you sent a direct message to a TruByte account on Instagram, that message and our replies are stored so we can answer you and keep a record of the conversation. If you ask us to delete it, we delete the stored copy of that conversation from our systems.
We cannot delete the copy held in your own Instagram or Facebook account, or the copy Meta holds. Those are yours and Meta’s, not ours. You can delete your side of the conversation in the Instagram app, and you can remove our access at any time through Instagram’s settings.
We action deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. If it will take longer, we tell you why and give you a date.
We may retain a limited record where the law requires it or where we need it to defend a legal claim — for example invoices and payment records, which accounting and tax rules require us to keep. We keep the minimum needed for that purpose and nothing more, and we do not use it to contact you.
Where you asked us not to contact you, we keep a suppression record of that request. That exists so we do not contact you again by mistake, and deleting it would defeat the purpose.
TruByte does not ask for your passwords, API keys or account credentials, and you should not send them to us. This is not only a policy: our systems reject stored values that look like a credential. If you have sent us one, tell us and we will remove it immediately.
Reply to us first and we will try to put it right. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
